About the Role

We are looking for a Research Scientist to help us advance our mission to build a world-class DEX.

At Trader Joe, we are passionate about exploring the latest developments in DeFi.

Lately this includes topics such as:

  • How to make LP’ing more profitable
  • How to solve cross-chain liquidity fragmentation
  • How to make cross-chain swaps faster

    • Our research scientists love research but with a focus on finding new products and features for us to build next. They work within the wider scope of the engineering team to explore new research, formulate ideas of their own and transmit them into a whitepaper.

    Any knowledge in engineering is an added bonus, but not necessary.

    Does this describe you?

  • You have a quantitative background
  • You like to read about latest research and product developments in DeFi
  • You’re a big picture thinker and like to explore areas where no one else is looking
  • You have a strong grasp of DeFi and finance fundamentals and have no issues digesting very technical DeFi research papers
  • You’re passionate about building products that will be used by many
